Security Officer - Operations - Shift Lead

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, dispatching security-related personnel as needed to incidents and routine activities
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, keeping accurate records of communications and actions taken
Maintain logs of all incoming and outgoing calls, radio transmissions, and other communications
Support security-related patrols by relaying information and providing updates to personnel in the field
Assist with access control measures by monitoring entry points and coordinating with on-site staff as required
Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence through communication and oversight
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address security-related concerns and support operational needs

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
CPR and First Aid are preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
