Supply Technician

Trimitron Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Technician to provide logistics, inventory, and material management support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division. This role ensures that mission-critical equipment, components, and materials are properly tracked, stored, issued, and documented to support PNT system development, testing, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

Receive, track, store, and issue materials, components, tools, and equipment supporting PNT-related systems
Maintain accurate inventory records using Government or contractor supply databases
Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciliations, and inspections to ensure accountability and compliance
Prepare and maintain documentation such as material receipts, issue logs, shipping forms, and inventory reports
Organize and maintain stockrooms, storage areas, and material handling spaces in accordance with Navy and DoD standards
Ensure proper labeling, shelf-life monitoring, and environmental storage requirements for sensitive or mission-critical items
Support packaging, handling, and transportation of equipment and materials for local or remote PNT program activities
Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and program managers to ensure timely availability of materials needed for PNT system integration, testing, and sustainment
Assist with tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Material (GFM)
Support configuration management and property accountability requirements
Provide supply data and status updates for program reviews, audits, and reporting requirements
Follow all Navy, NIWC, and DoD supply chain, property management, and inventory control policies
Identify opportunities to improve supply processes, reduce delays, and enhance material readiness
Ensure safe handling of electronic components, tools, and equipment in accordance with technical and safety standards

Required

Active Secret security clearance
High School diploma or GED
Experience in supply, inventory, warehouse, logistics, or material management roles (military or DoD environment preferred)
Ability to maintain accurate records, manage multiple priorities, and support fast paced technical operations
Familiarity with supply databases, inventory systems, or property accountability processes
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

Experience supporting U.S. Navy, NIWC, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or other DoD technical programs
Knowledge of C4ISR or electronic system supply support
Experience handling Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) or Government Furnished Material (GFM)
Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment (if applicable)
