This role involves supervising participants, leading activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children aged 5 to 13.

Responsibilities
Supervise participants to ensure rules are followed and provide appropriate discipline when needed
Lead and instruct diverse after school activities for youth
Keep records, organize and prepare and maintain materials and supplies, ensuring work areas and supplies are clean and secured at the end of each shift
The ability to communicate effectively with small groups, lead discussions and presentations
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years of age
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience and competence in oral and written communication
Preferred
At least one (1) year of college-level course work in Education, Human Services, or Parks and Recreation or related field preferred
Previous experience communicating and interacting with youth individually and in a group setting preferred
