Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders
Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, processing badges and/or credentials, and following visitor management procedures
Conduct entry screening as directed by site policy, including checking packages, deliveries, vehicles, and/or equipment entering or leaving the property
Perform regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location
Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and document unusual activity for follow-up
Provide escorts for visitors, contractors, and/or employees in controlled areas when required by site procedures
Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a clear and timely manner
Support protection of company assets by observing for suspicious behavior and conditions, reporting hazards, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or theft
Coordinate with site teams during drills, evacuations, and other operational disruptions, following established communication and response procedures
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security experience
Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
