Data Engineer (Remote Available)

Responsibilities
With occasional guidance design and develop performant data pipelines that support a variety of source system types (flat files, APIs, databases, etc.)
With occasional guidance troubleshoot issues with production pipelines and work with internal stakeholders to deploy fixes
With occasional guidance develop tools and services used by other teams to create, test, and deliver data-related assets
With occasional guidance design and develop cloud infrastructure-as-code to support the data platform
Qualification
Required
2 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree
Basic knowledge of the architecture of the systems which support more than one core business area
Basic knowledge of the architecture of the business systems which support more than one core business area
Basic knowledge of leveraging cloud-based architecture to support the life cycle of a data lake
Basic understanding of the effective application, operation, or practice in complex data lakes
Proficient understanding of fundamental data mart concepts
Foundational understanding of data warehousing and its role within an organization
Knowledge of basic corporate data warehouse models and their purposes
Understanding of core components of data warehousing systems
Familiar with fundamental data warehouse structures both in theory and basic practical application
Capable of basic performance considerations for data warehousing components
