Responsibilities
Conducting research and advising on a wide variety of legal issues
Reviewing outside counsel bills
Assisting with litigation management
Drafting and revising commercial contracts
Providing day-to-day counsel to the HR Department
Drafting and advising on employment and corporate policies
Providing sage advice to partners within the organization
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience practicing law; including 5+ years of litigation experience
High emotional intelligence and excellent analytical, research, and interpersonal skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (a writing sample is required)
Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technologically proficient with MS Office and Google programs
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for in-house exemption)
