Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the logistics and distribution location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages in accordance with established protocols to help to deter prohibited items from entering the location
Communicate and collaborate with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site activities
Prepare and maintain logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed at the location
Qualification
Required
Supervisory experience is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
X-ray screening experience is preferred
