Responsibilities
Help develop and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in automotive systems, maintenance, safety, diagnostics, and EV technology fundamentals
Support a fast-paced, cohort-based learning environment designed around employer needs
Assess student performance and provide feedback to ensure skill mastery and job readiness
Collaborate with college and industry partners to maintain training quality and consistency
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in automotive technology or related skilled trade field and three (3) years of experience
OR five (5) years of automotive industry or related experience including training or mentoring new automotive technicians
Significant professional experience in automotive service technology and/or electric vehicle systems
Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students and employers succeed
Flexibility and availability to teach a full-time, daytime schedule, M-Th for 3-4 month course delivery periods
Extensive on the job experience, knowledge, and training along with the ability to convey that knowledge to others
Preferred
Teaching credentials
Automotive manufacturing experience
Prior continuing education program delivery experience
Relevant professional certifications and/or licenses
