Responsibilities
Providing guidance to leadership and other program areas on effective communication strategies during emergencies
Engaging in emergency response planning and exercise development
Maintaining the MDHHS CERC plan
Conducting assessments and designing related programmatic initiatives to strengthen response capacity
Providing guidance and direction to risk communication and MIHAN teams
Contributing to federal cooperative agreement planning and reporting
Serving as Communications Section Chief during public health emergencies and exercises
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level
