Performing routine maintenance and servicing
Performing specialized mechanical and fabrication work as required
Providing training for Equipment Mechanic I’s
Performing the most complex maintenance and repair work in the shop

Required

Ability to make minor and major mechanical repairs to automotive, diesel and other power-driven equipment
Experience performing routine maintenance and servicing
Experience performing specialized mechanical and fabrication work
For Equipment Mechanic I: Ability to perform mechanical repair work of a routine to moderately complex nature under guidance
For Equipment Mechanic II: Ability to perform the full range of journey level automotive and equipment maintenance work
For Equipment Mechanic II: Ability to provide training for Equipment Mechanic I's
For Equipment Mechanic II: Ability to perform the most complex maintenance and repair work in the shop
