Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to management or law enforcement as needed
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to relay information regarding incidents, hazards, and/or operational issues
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements
Qualification
Required
Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
