Responsibilities
Responsible for equipment tagging, tracking, and maintaining University property inventory records
Identifies and applies university barcode numbers to property
Serves as a liaison with University departments to assist with property accountability
Investigate reports of stolen or missing items and prepare necessary documents reflecting findings
Assists in the preparation and collection of salvage property items for disposal
Provide support and assistance to faculty, staff, and vendors as needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities as Assigned
Drafts, organizes, updates and disseminates formal procurement records and purchase orders to the appropriate entities according to established guidelines and procedures
Answers complex and escalated questions; provides information regarding purchasing to various individuals and groups based on set material or standards
Provides guidance to less experienced staff members
Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent
(4) Four Years Experience
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role
Physical Exertion: The incumbent may be required to lift up to approximately 50 pounds
Vision: Requirements of this job include close vision
Speaking/Hearing: Ability to give and receive information through speaking and listening
Motor Coordination: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is frequently required to talk and hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
