NEOGOV is seeking a Public Health Aide to assist the Office of Public Health in Montgomery County. The role involves supporting OPH employees with various tasks such as courier deliveries, managing community clinics, and performing clerical duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Timely pickup and delivery of mail, standard and medium-sized packages, between county offices
Assist in OPH outreach programs and operations
Meet deadlines as stated in work orders submitted by OPH staff
Timely pickup and delivery of human, animal and environmental specimens
Set up and break down at various clinics or outreach sites
Maintain department vehicle and report issues immediately
Assist in other administrative duties as directed by the Health Program Office Coordinator and designated leadership

Required

Valid PA driver's license and excellent driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of work experience with the public preferred
Must have a functional car and be willing to travel throughout Montgomery County and neighboring counties
Ability to operate an eight-passenger van and necessary delivery equipment
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to read a road map and/or operate personal navigation applications/software
Maintain confidentiality of OPH matters
Ability to use Microsoft Office
This position requires the following clearances as a condition of employment: Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record History, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance
Onsite in-person attendance is required as directed by Supervisor or Administrator
