Information Technology Specialist 14 (Solutions Architect) Core Infrastructure Services

NEOGOV is seeking an Information Technology Specialist 14 to serve as a solutions architect and lead technical authority for the State of Michigan's Continuity Management Solution (MiCMS) tool. The role involves managing the health of the database, communication components, storage, development, upgrades, and security of the MiCMS tool, while also ensuring effective relationships with system users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage the health for the database, communication component, storage, development, upgrades and security of the MiCMS tool
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the MiCMS application
Responsible for all user integration and management within the Service Now/MiCMS tool
Maintain healthy and effective relationships with system users and conduct correspondence related to work
Responsible for all State Agencies' Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption stakeholders in their use of the application

Required

Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics
Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12
An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, project management, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12
At least an educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12

Preferred

Experience analyzing architecture components
Experience writing code and reading code, Python, and scripts
Experience in project management
Experience with ServiceNow BCM module

Experience with disaster recovery planning and architecture
