Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the site
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet
