Responsibilities
Answer incoming telephone calls and record messages
Make referrals to other departments
Answer questions and inquiries from field staff and the public
Process daily incoming and outgoing mail
Type a variety of moderately complex letters, reports, memos, invoices, and emails
Proofread all outgoing memos, letters, and other correspondence from Programs
Review format, grammar, and check for completeness on all correspondence
Track registered mail and e-mail
Create or assist in creating and applying changes, procedures, and suggestions relative to clerical and Program duties
Qualification
Required
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
