Building for Equity Support Specialist II

Responsibilities
Assist with administration of application review processes, including updating application and guidelines on our website and in 4Culture’s grant portal
Assist with logistics of application review panel including updating reviewer instructions in our grant portal, communicating with grant reviewers, completing reviewer contracts, gathering reviewer paperwork, scheduling panel meetings, recording panel comments and evaluation
Assist with issuing grant contracts, tracking open contracts, and other grant administration tasks
Respond to requests for information from the public
Track demographics updates of open programs and follow up with applicants to complete updates in accordance with 4Culture policy
Assist with coordination of off-site meetings and events i.e. outreach events, Communities of Practice, Native Art Market, Cohort convenings, etc
Support creating and delivering presentations for workshops, events and meetings
Arrange logistics, for internal and external meetings and workshops including Advisory Committee meetings, preparing meeting notifications, minutes, agendas, materials, and refreshments
Track and monitor relevant resources that support Building for Equity applicants
Track and monitor Building For Equity contact lists
Survey creation and monitoring
Contribute to the overall health and welfare of 4Culture by participating on internal sub-committees that address overarching issues affecting the operations of the agency
In accordance with King County records management law, regulations and best practice regularly utilize the County records management software Content Manager
Participate in the development of the Building for Equity program work plan and budget
Assist in research and development of new initiatives in the Building for Equity Program such as Communities of Practice and Anchoring Community Cohort
Work with Building for Equity Program Managers, Preservation Director, other 4Culture staff, and partners to conduct outreach and reduce barriers to accessing funding, to expand the base of organizations and Tribes who apply for and receive support from 4Culture
Work with Building for Equity Program Managers, Preservation Director, other 4Culture staff, to support the creation and management of ongoing data collection practices, analysis (qualitative and quantitative), and presentation of results internally and externally
Support the management of a growing interdisciplinary network and constituency of the Building for Equity Program in strategic and goal-oriented ways
Support a portfolio of specific funding programs and projects. The portfolio that this position supports is currently expected to be comprised of the following: Building for Equity: Project Development, Facilities, Native Cultural Facilities, and Anchoring Community grants, Anchoring Community Cohorts and Communities of Practice, among other programs in development
Assist the communications department in promoting the work of the Building for Equity program by providing content for marketing and communications efforts. This includes organizing grant recipient photography and using a digital image management system
Qualification
Required
Two years working within non-profit cultural or science organizations, including facilities operation, cultural production, or administration; public agencies or departments; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields
Experience with Salesforce (preferred) or other customer relationship management software, and MS Office 365 including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Ability to multi-task and prioritize support for multiple programs at different stages and timelines
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Preferred
One year of experience working in or with Native communities
Knowledge in decolonization, racial equity, and/or equitable development
Proficiency in back-end website platform navigation
