Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by site
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management
Qualification
Required
1 year of security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card
Must be armed
Must have a clean background and driving record
Must have high school diploma or GED or Official Transcripts
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
