Director of Sales
Crossley Scott is a growing automotive lighting manufacturer seeking a Director of Sales to lead and expand their commercial presence across Michigan. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and shaping sales strategy across OEM, supplier, and aftermarket channels.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow sales operations across the Michigan territory
Own and execute regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
Develop and manage senior-level relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, and strategic accounts
Drive new business opportunities across OEM, aftermarket, and fleet channels
Oversee key negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements
Deliver high-level product and technical presentations to senior stakeholders
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and executive leadership teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of senior sales experience within automotive lighting, automotive electronics, or vehicle electrical systems
Proven success selling into OEM and Tier 1 environments
Strong understanding of the Michigan automotive ecosystem
Strategic, commercially astute, and hands-on in execution
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable representing the business at executive and technical levels
Willingness to travel within Michigan and occasionally across the US
Valid US driver's license
