Windchill PLM Principal Consultant / Architect
InOpTra Digital is seeking a highly experienced PLM Solution Architect with deep expertise in PTC Windchill to lead enterprise-scale PLM initiatives. This strategic role requires guiding stakeholders and overseeing the implementation lifecycle within a Product/Manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Define, design, and deliver end-to-end PLM solution architecture, primarily focusing on PTC Windchill
Translate complex business requirements into scalable PLM configurations, workflows, and system designs
Provide high-level technical leadership, governance, and best-practice guidance to delivery teams and stakeholders
Lead major PLM implementations, upgrades, and migrations for global engineering organizations
Design and manage complex integrations between Windchill and other enterprise systems (CAD, ERP, etc.)
Oversee the solution delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and product development goals
Act as a Senior Technical Advisor to business stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical teams and business leadership
Adopt a consultative approach to identify pain points and propose value-driven PLM solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience in PLM implementations and solution architecture
Deep expertise in PTC Windchill (Configuration, Customization, and Integrations)
Strong understanding of PLM core concepts: BOM management, Lifecycles, Workflows, and Change Management
Proven experience designing integrations with CAD (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.) and ERP systems
Strong Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly
Consultative Mindset: Proactive in suggesting improvements and guiding the client rather than just taking orders
Stakeholder Management: Experience managing expectations in a global, enterprise environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Preferred
Experience working specifically within Product Companies or the Manufacturing Industry (e.g., Heavy Machinery, Automotive, Aerospace) is highly preferred
