Responsibilities
Unskilled heavy and light physical labor in a wide variety of activities such as: cutting grass, weeds, trees, and brush; cleaning culverts, drains, and ditches; moving, loading, and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment; assisting in the repair and construction of roadways, walkways, utility installations, etc
Routine maintenance of Parish parks, playgrounds, landscaped areas, and buildings
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Applicants must be free from any condition which would prevent the safe and efficient performance of their essential duties
Applicants must have acceptable personal history backgrounds
Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions
Ability to perform heavy manual work
Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record will be given preference on positions that require driving
