Court Services Supervisor 2
NEOGOV is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to work as a Court Services Supervisor 2 in the Criminal Division of the New Jersey Judiciary. This role involves supervising and coordinating the work of a diverse team, ensuring effective implementation of policies and procedures while fostering professional development.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the diversified work activities of a team composed of professional, paraprofessional, and/or clerical staff
Regulating, and directing the flow of work within the team, and between teams, in accordance with operating schedules
Instruct, mentor, coach, evaluate, provide opportunities for skill building, advocacy, and accountability to team members on work related matters
Providing feedback in a constructive manner that promotes professional development
Conducting formal work performance evaluations
Providing training
Developing and maintaining working relationships with internal and external partners
Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings with internal and external stakeholders and leading facilitating meetings
Provide direction for achieving organizational, unit and project goals
Possess strong leadership, a dedication to effective implementation, and a passion for ensuring fidelity to the Criminal mission
Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and project managements skills
Perform related duties as required
May be assigned to work within the Recovery Court or Criminal Case Management unit
May be required to work evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits
An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
A master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above
A law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above
Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service
Driver's License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Special Note: Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey
