Senior Salesforce Administration Lead

AVID Technical Resources is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administration Lead to provide interim leadership for 3-6 months. This role involves overseeing the Salesforce ecosystem, coaching the systems administration team, managing critical projects, and serving as a liaison with ITS.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily standups (Allison & Lauren can assist)
Coach and guide team members: Lauren, Peter, Sterling, Dan
Monitor and assign cases by record type: licensing, other, tech changes, data uploads
Handle escalated technical issues
Oversee system administration and data quality checks
Provide updates to Vice President of Advancement Resources
Bridge gap between ITS development and Advancement business needs
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Coordinate project deliverables and timelines
Facilitate problem resolution between teams
Ascend stabilization
Kindsight engagement
Commerce Cloud stabilization and troubleshooting
Experience Cloud Giving Day platform (contingency: rollback to GARVYTY if needed)
Parent data loads (starting 1/15/2026)
Giving societies in Ascend
Historical documents project
Miscellaneous: email address cleanup, constituent type work, audits

Qualification

Preferred

Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years Salesforce administration experience, preferably in higher education
Proven experience coaching or managing technical teams
Strong knowledge of Salesforce products: Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud
Experience with Salesforce configuration: Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dashboards and reports
Ability to serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
Strong business analysis skills to translate business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills
Experience with sandbox and production environments
Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently in a temporary capacity
