Natural Resource Specialist 2/3 Flex (PCN 10-1133)
NEOGOV is seeking a Natural Resource Specialist 2/3 Flex to join the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water in Anchorage. Qualification
Required
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Analytical Thinking/Problem-Solving
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Decision-Making
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Legal, Government, and Jurisprudence
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Oral Communication
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Writing
Education in a natural resource field (such as forestry, geology, agronomy, and hydrology), public administration, planning, economics, cartography, or a closely related field and/or professional-level experience in natural resource management
At the time of the interview, please ensure that you provide the following materials: Writing sample, a copy of educational transcripts if relied upon to demonstrate competencies, a resume with complete job history, a list of at least three professional references with current contact information, including name, employer, and current telephone numbers of the reference, and a driver's license
May require some occasional travel for field work that may involve travel to remote areas via small plane, ATV, snowmachine, or boat
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license. Proof of licensure will be required prior to reporting to duty
This position requires the use or possession of a firearm or ammunition
