Associate Scientist – In Situ Biology
LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a motivated Associate Scientist to support spatial biology experiments focused on antibody-based therapeutics. This role involves hands-on laboratory work with core histology methodologies and requires collaboration with multiple investigators across diverse projects.
Responsibilities
Process biological samples for downstream histological analysis
Perform routine histology laboratory maintenance
Conduct immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments using auto stainers
Maintain, organize, and catalog a biospecimen repository
Document experiments and workflows using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Support multiple projects in collaboration with cross-functional research teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Biological Sciences or a related field
1–2+ years of laboratory experience
Hands-on experience with histopathology techniques
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional research environment
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn new skills and technologies
Preferred
Experience with tissue sectioning
Preference given to Histology Technicians (HTs)
