RMI Global Solutions is seeking a Safety Medic who will act as both a QHSE advisor and medic in the field. The role involves providing urgent medical care, managing QHSE aspects of projects, and promoting safety awareness among crews.

Responsibilities

Deliver urgent and emergency medical care and maintain accurate electronic health records
Ensure readiness of medical facilities, equipment, and supplies; perform routine maintenance checks
Manage medical emergencies, stabilise patients, and coordinate evacuations in line with MERP and RHCP guidelines
Conduct health screenings, drug and alcohol testing, and workforce medical inductions
Promote health and hygiene programs and provide first-aid training and emergency drills
Serve as the primary on-site contact for client EHS and QHSE matters; advise on compliance and industry standards
Monitor QHSE performance, support investigations, and assist with training and safety programs
Maintain professional certifications and comply with all client and statutory requirements

Required

Applicants must have the right to work in the US without sponsorship
Minimum 2 years as a licensed paramedic, nurse, advanced practitioner, or physician
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
English fluency and ability to pass Fit-to-Work assessments
Valid medical license and advanced life support certifications (ALS, ACLS, BLS, PHTLS)
At least one recognised HSE certification
Offshore safety training (BOSIET, HUET) and other project-specific certifications as required

Preferred

Experience in remote healthcare; oil & gas or industrial operations preferred
