Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control access at designated entrances and gates by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and directing authorized traffic to appropriate check-in locations
Process and log visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements, including confirming appointments and communicating arrivals to host departments
Support shipping and receiving access control by checking driver identification, verifying delivery and pickup information, and coordinating entry instructions with site contacts
Monitor alarm panels, access control systems, and closed-circuit video systems when assigned, and report irregular activity per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate contacts
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, and perimeter points as assigned, noting hazardous conditions or security-related concerns and reporting them to site leadership
Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, including access denials, unusual observations, and policy violations, and submit documentation per Allied Universal and site guidelines
Provide direction and de-escalation support for conflicts or policy noncompliance, and request additional assistance when needed
Support security-related inspections at entrances such as bag checks or package verification when required by site policy, while maintaining respectful customer service

Required

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred
