Senior Wealth and Trust Advisor

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall client satisfaction by directing and coordinating the efforts of appropriate bank resources to ensure the timely delivery of quality service, issue resolution, and effective communication with clients and other wealth team members
Cultivate strong working relationships with clients and their advisors to develop a complete understanding of clients’ needs and seek to identify new business opportunities from the existing client base, prospects, and centers of influence
Build and maintain knowledge of fiduciary standards and practices and Support Fiduciary Services by providing departmental projects and committees leadership. Bryn Mawr Trust takes a lead with planning approach to client relationships
May utilize financial planning software or integrate a broader planning team to help address clients’ financial goals and objectives
May provide mentoring to junior Wealth Management Division advisors, including training, skill development, work allocation, and problem resolution, and represent BMT at outside/professional organizations; while supporting our mission, strategy, and values

Required

Must have College degree
Must have 10 years of experience in a trust department of a bank or with a financial service company or law firm
Must have high level of technical knowledge of fiduciary, tax and estate planning concepts and a solid understanding of financial markets
Strong leadership skills
Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Strong written and verbal skills and ability to handle and deliver difficult client and management messages with tact and firmness
