Responsibilities

Manage substantial litigation caseloads with a focus on advancing each case to its next high-leverage milestone
Execute strategic legal positioning to maximize settlement value through pleadings, motions, and discovery
Build litigation leverage that accelerates resolution while maintaining max case value
Conduct depositions, attend mediations, and hearings throughout the Minneapolis area
Maintain proactive client communication through structured systems that reinforce case strength and timeline, ensuring all clients are prepared for their cases
Make strategic decisions on case progression, settlement timing, and litigation resource allocation
Direct, review, and approve the work of a case manager or paralegal

Required

Licensed to practice law in Minnesota and in good standing
An ability to attend occasional depositions in Minnesota, mostly in Minneapolis
3+ years of litigation experience
Very driven and entrepreneurial with outstanding client relations skills
Tech-oriented and adaptable to new systems
The ability to be concise, yet empathetic throughout all client interactions
The ability to represent a client with different beliefs from your own
