Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk
Monitor access control by verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency personnel as needed
Maintain a professional presence at the front desk, answering inquiries and directing guests to the appropriate locations within the property
Document and report security-related incidents or suspicious activities observed at the front desk area to management and/or Allied Universal as required
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
