Responsibilities

Perform final technical reviews of various federal and state tax returns
Research complex tax issues and provide practical recommendations
Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments
Communicate with clients to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services
Supervise, mentor, and manage staff while maintaining high-quality standards
Assign, track, and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Conduct client meetings and provide advisory support
Prepare and review payroll tax returns
Review monthly bookkeeping engagements
Manage client lists, due dates, and workflow
Perform research and analysis as needed
Support business development by building strong client relationships

Qualification

CPA licensePublic accounting experienceQuickBooksLeadership skillsDecision-making skillsOrganizational skillsDetail-oriented

Required

Active CPA license (Florida required)
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a heavy workload
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Preferred

Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero
Familiarity with Gusto and ProSeries is a plus
Strong technology and systems aptitude
