Business Development Officer
C2C Business Strategies is looking to hire Business Development Officers across the US to support their advisory and consulting services. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying potential clients, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted sales and business development strategies to generate leads, close deals, and secure new business aligned with C2C’s advisory and consulting services
Utilize comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and acquisition opportunities
Seek out potential clients, especially companies undergoing generational transitions and/or planning public offerings and strategic exits
Organize and lead local networking events using proven C2C methodologies to generate awareness, leads, and business development
Present tailored company reports, proposals, and contracts that meet client needs related to M&A advisory, capital formation, public company support, and operational efficiency
Maintain and nurture strong client relationships, and support C2C management consultants
Represent C2C at industry events and networking engagements to promote company expertise in both acquisition-driven growth and capital strategies
Track, report, and analyze business development performance metrics to continuously refine strategies and to meet revenue targets
Work with senior management to close transactions and develop a client base
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. Or comparable work experience and a track record of sales/business development achievement and success in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated experience in business development and sales roles, particularly within M&A, capital formation, and/or consulting sectors
Strong skills in market research, strategic planning, and financial analysis
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities
Proficient in CRM systems and business development tools
Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities tailored to complex, dynamic business environments
Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and to engage with executive-level clients
