Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and assist customers, employees, and visitors as needed
Monitor access points and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal procedures
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal policies
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
At least one year of security-related experience is required
A current armed guard card or license is required
Level III armed certification is required for Texas roles only
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
