Responsibilities

The Child Welfare Litigation Bureau represents the Department of Children and Family Services and the Director in complex class action litigation, administrative review actions, and other litigation as assigned

Qualification

Licensed attorney in IllinoisPost-graduate legal experienceResearch skillsWriting skillsFederal civil rights litigation

Required

Candidates must be licensed in Illinois at the time of application
A minimum of five years of post-graduate legal experience is required
Candidates must have strong research and writing skills

Preferred

Experience in federal civil rights litigation is preferred
