Responsibilities
Creates original illustrations and graphics utilizing various techniques and mediums
Designs and produces exhibit panels and brochures using various computer applications
Develops logos and style guides for individual exhibits and programs
Prepares print text and image panels
Develops manuals and publications for use throughout the museum, including the newsletter and blog
Formats text of varied subject matter for clear presentation
Assists in maintaining exhibit lighting
Creates and manipulates digital images using various computer software applications
Assists with maintaining the museum website
Provides closed captioning text to videos and other mediums for ADA compliance
Serves as point of contact between museum and outside vendors, exhibit fabricators, printers, and exhibit component providers
Maintains electronic equipment and software for exhibits
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in art, design, graphics, or related field required
One year of experience in the production of art for display and education
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
