Business Operations Analyst | P&C Insurance
Global Accounting Network is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support operational initiatives and improve business processes. The role involves evaluating workflows and systems, coordinating projects, and enhancing collaboration among various teams to drive efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities
Assess current operational workflows and document processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, workflows, and operational guidelines
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes and support implementation efforts
Serve as a point of coordination between operational teams, business units, technology partners, and service teams
Support operational audits and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements through feedback and performance metrics
Assist with training and knowledge transfer related to new processes, tools, or best practices
Apply business and industry knowledge to identify service-impacting issues and recommend solutions
Contribute to defining project scope, timelines, and business justifications
Support project execution activities including testing coordination, user acceptance testing, training preparation, and status reporting
Track outcomes of implemented changes using performance indicators and recommend adjustments to support continuous improvement
Assist with the adoption of tools, systems, and process enhancements that improve operational effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Prior experience supporting operational projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional programs
5+ years of experience in business process analysis, operational improvement, or project-based work
Experience with process mapping and documentation techniques
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools
Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
Understanding of operational functions within a regulated or service-driven industry
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proven problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgment and accountability when making decisions impacting people, processes, technology, cost, and service quality
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Proficiency with common productivity tools and the ability to learn new business systems and platforms
Preferred
Exposure to formal process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
Experience supporting projects involving operational change or transformation
Familiarity with change management concepts and practices
Experience working with data analysis or reporting tools
