Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Staff the front desk and lobby area, greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing individuals to appropriate locations based on site procedures
Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site requirements
Monitor cameras, alarm panels, intercoms, and/or other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public responders when required
Operate phones, radios, and/or dispatch channels to relay information, document requests, and support coordination during routine operations and incident response
Complete detailed reports and shift logs, including incident documentation, access control activity, and policy exceptions, and submit them per site requirements
Support a professional location environment by enforcing lobby and reception procedures, including prohibited items screening requirements when assigned, and addressing policy violations in a courteous manner
Qualification
Required
Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
