Responsibilities
Planning and expediting required materials for the production floor
Optimize efficiencies and inventory investments
Contribute to the direct scheduling of production machinery
Ensure supply of materials necessary for production
Track and monitor materials from shipment to final delivery at the site
Monitor and track inventory levels on hand and on order
Manage delivery issues
Liaison between customers, suppliers, distributors
Prepare cost estimates and performance reports (KPIS)
Participate in vendor and supplier qualification, performance evaluations, metrics tracking
Qualification
Required
3+ years of Material Planning experience
2+ years of inventory management/ purchasing experience
Advanced system skills and working knowledge of SAP
Self-starter
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
APICS, CSCP, CPIM, SCOR-P, ISM preferred
