In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of activities and programs for summer camp, engaging with campers and assisting with the daily operations of recreational facilities.

Responsibilities
Attends to the daily operation of facilities and assists with various recreation programs, leagues, hospitality/concessions and special events
Assists with program registrations, including periods of intensive computer processing with custom registration system
Assists with program and event set up, tear down and implementation including working both inside and outside in various locations and conditions
Provides excellent customer service by responding to customers’ questions and needs
Performs general maintenance, concession duties, housekeeping duties in Parks and Recreation Department and/or Grapevine/Colleyville Independent School District facilities
Ensures the safety of all spectators and participants in programs and facilities
Completes various reports and submits them to the appropriate supervisor
Performs related duties as directed when such duties are a logical and appropriate assignment to the position
Regular and timely attendance are required for this position
Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and 18 years of age OR 2 years of full-time equivalent experience as an RCA I
Must have 3-6 months experience working with children
Must possess or obtain upon hire CPR certification
Physical ability for job tasks and outdoor work
Pass a Federal/National criminal background check
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Availability for various times, nights, weekends, and some holidays
