Responsibilities
Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards
Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, and custom applications
Translate business requirements into robust technical designs, data models, and integration patterns
Establish and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and best practices
Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, and other technologies
Provide technical leadership to developers, administrators, and cross-functional teams
Conduct platform health checks, performance tuning, and upgrade planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps, evaluate new features, and drive continuous improvement
Review solution designs for quality, security, and maintainability
Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend adoption of new capabilities
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow development and architecture
Deep expertise in ITSM and at least one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, etc.)
Strong understanding of CMDB, discovery, service mapping, and data modeling
Proven experience designing complex integrations and workflows
Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow configuration
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences
Preferred
ServiceNow certifications such as: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward it
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe)
Background in ITIL processes and service management best practices
Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
