Business Development Manager
Skyward is a global company that builds software solutions for K-12 schools, fostering a supportive and enthusiastic work environment. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, engage prospective customers, and contribute to the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities
Generate new sales opportunities through phone, email, video, social media, and other outreach methods
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects
Develop and follow a structured outreach process (method, cadence, timing)
Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and complete follow‑up
Schedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives
Document activities in Skyforce and assist with forecasting
Share market trends and competitive intel from prospect conversations
Partner with Sales Enablement to refine skills and prospecting strategies
Attend tradeshows as needed for lead generation
Build internal relationships and deepen product knowledge to effectively communicate value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proven track record in software or technology prospecting
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive writing skills
An engaging personality with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear, compelling way
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with video conferencing tools (e.g., WebEx)
Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills
Valid driver's license and insurability
