Trading Manager
Barfield Inc is seeking a Trading Manager who will report to the Vice President of GSTE, Trading and Distribution. The role involves maintaining and growing the Trading activity, managing staff, handling quotes and sales, and fostering relationships with airlines and brokers.

Responsibilities
To help the VP in charge of the Business Unit not only maintain but also grow the current business of the Trading activity
To be the first point of contact and the driving force for the Trading activity
To be responsible for the day-to-day quotes and sales of rotables and expendables
To manage the Trading staff with the daily activities
To keep good business relationships with airlines and brokers as they bring sales/exchanges opportunities
To feed and keep up to date our mainframe with Pricing data like “FMV (Fair Market Value) or else”
Understands as many as possible LRU per aircraft type, especially those that we repair internally and that we are the warranty repair station for the Americas
Understands the industry and bring new business opportunities to light
Recommends to Senior Management which LRU should be purchased for exchange, and which LRU to be retagged
Work with our repair groups with current PBHs to support them with either internal Exchanges when the part needs to be out-source in the market
Monitor the exchanges to make sure that the core is returned within the time frame provided on the agreement, process late core fees when necessary and vise-versa when we buy an exchange unit for a program to make sure it is returned on time to avoid vendors late fees
Process all our sales orders from A to Z; specially with rotables
Available to work beyond the eight-hour day shift as needed
No Travel requirements needed unless exception
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related experience in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or 10's + years of experience in Sales and Trading of aircraft components in Business & Commercial Aviation
Very good technical knowledge of the aircraft platforms and the aircraft maintenance industry is a must
Excellent negotiation and selling skills in international environment. Must be a closer
Excellent knowledge in Quantum
Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Analytical skills of large data and detailed oriented are a plus
You are motivated, curious, proactive and organized
You are resistant to stress, flexible and agile to lead several sales campaigns in parallel
You enjoy teamwork and have good communication skills
Exchange Process management(including core return…) is a must
