Responsibilities
Assists the District Manager in planning, implementing and evaluating the technical and administrative components of the district
Assists the District Manager in performing administrative tasks with regard to personnel matters
Plans and provides training/development to staff members
Provides technical assistance and guidance to subordinate staff members with their casework
Advises staff members on matters of policy and administration
Conducts vocational rehabilitation case reviews
Reviews the work product of various staff members within the district
Assists in the coordination of activities in the district
May act in the place of the District Manager during his/her absence
Performs related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
A thorough knowledge of a vocational rehabilitation district's operations and the OVR policies and procedures which are related to the functional areas of rehabilitation counseling casework are required
Preferred
Typically requires a Master's Degree and three years of experience
A Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a closely related field plus three (3) years of experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling or a closely related field is required
A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification is preferred
