Hire, train, coach, and lead production and sales staff
Build a strong, accountable, high-performance culture
Set expectations, provide feedback, and develop your team
Own job completion from start to finish
Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
Oversee scheduling, crew performance, labor efficiency, and workflow
Manage inventory, materials, and job readiness
Visit job sites regularly to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
Partner with the Sales Manager on hiring and performance goals
Run sales appointments as needed
Support revenue targets and conversion improvement
Track weekly KPIs using EOS or similar systems
Analyze local market trends and competitor activity
Identify growth opportunities and operational improvements
Lead weekly team meetings and performance reviews
Ensure consistent, professional customer communication
Promote craftsmanship, teamwork, and accountability
Resolve escalations and maintain high service standards
Qualification
Required
2+ years of management experience
2+ years of coatings, construction, or home improvement experience
Strong operational leadership and organizational skills
Ability to lead from the front and work in the field
Proven ability to manage people, process, and performance
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
