Responsibilities
Ensure product entering operations or inventory meets all design requirements by confirming dimensional characteristics, visual/cosmetic attributes, functional operation and supporting documentation review
Basic understanding of Metrology concepts including Blueprint layout & GD&T
Support basic manual (surface plate and visual) inspection of parts and packaging
Conduct basic manual (surface plate and visual) inspection of parts and packaging
Compare measurement outputs against design requirements and determines pass/fail)
Maintains inspection tooling and equipment to ensure results reliability and repeatability
Conduct basic CMM part setup and probe calibration
Qualification
Required

Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
