Confidential is seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting Associate to join their team. The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare assigned regulatory reports accurately and timely in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory instructions, working with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, and FR2900,), Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-15, and BE-125)
Reconcile reporting data to GL, validation of static data and perform variance analysis
Ensure that changes in the reporting instructions and accounting standards made by the regulatory authorities are incorporated within the reports submitted
Assist in maintaining and updating procedure documentations related to new and existing regulatory requirements to ensure firm’s compliance
Keep track of each assigned tasks and projects, and meet each deadline
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across organization

Required

Bachelor's degree with accounting major is preferred
2-3 years of experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Working knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial reporting
Basic knowledge of financial products (e.g. loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market products, repos etc.)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Big 4 or large regional accounting firms (banking or capital market clients), financial accounting, product control or regulatory reporting area, experiences in banking is required
Strong ability to handle multiple tasks

Preferred

Experience in BI tools such as Alteryx or Power Bi is a plus
US CPA, CFA or equivalent license is a big plus
