Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate Solventum’s enterprise architecture practice by maturing EA methods, aligning IT and business strategy, managing architect team delivery, and promoting EA services across the organization
Coordinate, create, publish, and measure adoption of architectural artifacts (standards, policies, principles) across technology domains and technology asset classes
Facilitate Architecture Review Board activities ensuring responsive processes, rightsizing architecture reviews, and strengthening engagement of technical teams, business leaders, and program/project managers
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and guide the architecture design of enterprise technology assets including applications (SAP, CRM, MES, PLM, QMS, etc.), data and integrations, infrastructure, and security systems to align with strategic goals of the enterprise and to establish an integrated technology landscape
Conduct research and assess and evangelize new technologies where appropriate. Drive technology asset lifecycle and change management for implemented technologies
Manage individual architects and architecture teams in the creation and publication of detailed architectural artifacts and technical solutions, assuring on time and on budget delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher AND ten (10) years of Enterprise Architect and/or Technical Architect experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
High School Diploma/GED AND fourteen (14) years of Enterprise Architect and/or Technical Architect experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Enterprise Architecture experience, which includes business, application, data, technology, and security architecture domains
Architecture experience in one or more of the following technology domains: ERP, business applications, cybersecurity, data & analytics, integration services, automation, AI, cloud-infrastructure, and/or end user technologies
Agile and/or waterfall project management experience
Experience with one or more of the following technologies: ServiceNow, SAP S4/Hana, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce.com, SAP BTP/Datasphere, Mulesoft, Snowflake, AWS & Azure Cloud, Z-Scaler, and Microsoft 365, Power Platform, & CoPilot
Preferred
Technology Governance Expertise: Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end target states, roadmaps, and capability models that align strategy to execution
Technology Architecture Expertise: Deep experience with EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), standards (e.g. ArchiMate, UML, BPMN), modern architecture practices (cloud-native, event-driven, microservices, APIs), and technology asset lifecycle management (e.g. ServiceNow CMDB)
Written and verbal communication skills and ability to evangelize and translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Problem solving and analytical abilities to assess current IT landscape, identify gaps, and develop optimal solutions
Leadership skills to influence decision-making and manage team delivery
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP/CCSP, ITIL)
