Responsibilities
Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, etc.)
Perform routine service and maintenance of fire safety systems in accordance with local, state, and national codes
Complete inspection reports and service documentation accurately and promptly
Troubleshoot systems and recommend corrective actions
Ensure all work meets NFPA standards, building codes, and customer requirements
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Stay up to date with fire safety standards and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
NICET certifications (Level I or Higher)
Driver's License
Light lifting
Walking, standing and climbing for entire day
Travel by land, sea and/or aircraft to work locations
Preferred
NICET Special Hazards Systems
NICET Fire Alarm Systems
NICET Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems
