Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing labor and overhead accounts and update annual conversion rates
Maintain Item Master, Bill of Materials, and Routes in the ERP system
Determine and report financial valuation of all inventory categories
Prepare and update cost estimates for Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing
Support new product costing and cost-scenario modeling
Provide cost analyses to Manufacturing and R&D for process improvements
Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reflection of operations
Analyze monthly manufacturing activity to ensure reporting accuracy
Support pricing strategy and margin analyses
Analyze and review purchase price variances
Prepare and analyze standard vs. actual labor and material variances
Monitor cycle count reconciliations across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Monitor accuracy and timeliness of inventory transactions
Determine financial implications of inventory transactions
Analyze and report scrap and discard activity, recommending improvements
Drive efficiencies in cost accounting processes
Perform special projects as assigned
Maintain cost accounting documentation and work instructions
Support internal, external, ISO, and financial audits
Provide backup support to Accounting Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline required
6-8 years of cost accounting experience in a standard costing environment
Advanced Excel skills required
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines
Preferred
CMA preferred
Experience with Infor Syteline ERP strongly preferred
PowerBI reporting experience preferred
