Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
